Who is behind the camera?
My name is Jordan Ogden. I am a mama to three sweet babes. Savannah, 11, Waylon, 4, and Bonnie, 2. I am also a veteran and a milspouse. Originally I am from Nebraska/Iowa, but KY is home. As you can see from my portfolio, my business started during our time in Colorado. We enjoyed our time there, but we are so happy to be where there's green grass and warmth! haha. We live a simple country life with horses, chickens, and many more farm animals. Family is the most important thing to me and I promise to treat every client just like family! - To include joking around with! ;)
I first started photography 11 years ago when my first child was born. Shortly after, life happened and I stopped doing it. I currently have my Bachelors in Psychology and working towards my master. Outside of my own schooling, I homeschool our middle child, am a personal chauffeur to our oldest for all of her sporting events, a ranch owner, a full time mama and wife. To add to it, my two oldest children race Jr Dragsters! We travel all the way back home to race with family even. Life is busy, but it is short. Which is why I love being able to make time stand still for my clients.
My "Why" was discovered when I was working as a licensed life insurance agent. Most of my clients who were calling to set up a policy, were due to a family member passing. Each of them said that they wish they had taken more photos. That resonated with me and has become my "why". Life is not promised and can be incredibly short. Take the dang picture.
